STUNNING RESTORED TC
At the End of WWII, MG were able to move back to making cars again after spending the war building aircraft components and modifying tanks. The first car to be introduced was the TC Midget, Produced in Only Right Hand Drive Configuration, the Roadster was Aimed Towards the Young and Adventurous who were Now Able to Claim Back Their Youth. Widely Acknowledged as the Catalyst of the Post-war Sports Car Revolution in the USA, with the American GI's Based in the UK and Europe having Fallen In Love with their Lightweight, Sporting Characteristics.
This MG TC was Comprehensively Restored by its MG enthusiast owner having re-acquired the car in March 2001. There was a particular passion involved in restoring this TC as he had previously owned it some years prior. The majority of the Mechanical and Body Restoration was carried out by Ballingal Motors whilst the Trim was by Garry Blackman. An Invoice File confirms details of both parts and labour in Restoration Costs, along with a Photographic Folder providing a record of the progress during the restoration process. A further file contains post restoration invoices for Service and Maintenance by MG Specialist Ray Skewes Automotive and also Intermarque Automotive with the most Recent Service being carried out earlier This Year and a mere 35km ago.
This well known MG TC presents impeccably in Red with Light Tan Seats, Door Trims and Dashboard, whilst the carpets are in black. The Soft Top Hood, Side Screens and Tonneau Cover are all in a Light Tan Quality Fabric. The only deviation from original mechanical specification is the fitting of a Spin-On Oil filter for ease of servicing. This TC would satisfy the most discerning T Series aficionado.
If your passion is a T Series MG then this beautifully restored TC will Tick all the Boxes. An Ideal classic car to tackle the Open Road and immerse yourself in what Period Motoring is all about. Wind your way through the Hills with the Crisp sound of the Exhaust echoing, or maybe something as simple as a quick Jaunt for morning Coffee.
